In a small saucepan, combine rice with water.
Bring to a boil, cover and cook (without removing the cover) on low heat 15 to 20 minutes, or until desired tenderness.
Set aside. In a bowl, combine black bean burger mix with warm water, let stand for 10 to 15 minutes.
Stir prepared rice into black bean burger mixture.
Form mix into 1" balls. In a lightly oiled skillet, cook porcupine beanballs over medium heat until browned, about 4 minutes per side.
