Preheat the oven to 350°F.
In a large bowl, mix all dry ingredients together.
Stir in milk, eggs, vanilla, lemon zest and oil (or butter).
Gently fold in blueberries and pecans.
Pour batter into two greased loaf pans.
Sprinkle with reserved chopped pecans.
Bake for 60 to 65 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
