Vegetarian Chicken Patties
- 1 cup Augason Farms Chicken Flavored Vegetarian Meat Substitute, rehydrated and drained
- 1 egg (or 2 1/2 tablespoons Augason Farms Whole Egg Powder +2 1/2 tablespoons water)
- 3 tablespoons flour (or Augason Farms Honey White Bread, Scone & Roll Mix)
- 1 teaspoon chicken flavor bouillon
Prepare chicken patties by combining chicken meat, egg, flour and bouillon. Mix well. For more uniform texture combine in a blender and puree. Form two, 3-inch diameter balls, flatten into patties. Cook in a lightly oiled skillet over medium heat until golden brown, about 2 to 3 minutes per side. Serve on hamburger buns (see recipe page 43). Makes 2 patties.
