Salisbury Black Bean Steaks

Gravy:

  • 6 tbsp beef flavored onion soup mix
  • 3 cups water

Instructions:

Rehydrate black bean burger mix by mixing with warm water, let stand for 5 minutes. Form into oval patties. Heat an oiled skillet over medium heat. Place black bean burger steaks in a skillet and cook for 4 to 5 minutes per side. In a separate bowl, whisk beef flavored soup mix into water and set aside. Pour gravy mix over black bean patties, reduce heat to medium and cook until gravy has thickened, about 5 minutes, stirring frequently.
