Mix together flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside. In a large bowl, mix together buttermilk and vanilla extract. Set aside until needed. Beat butter and granulated sugar in a mixing bowl until light and creamy. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Mix in pulverized peaches.
