Oven Fried Chicken

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups Augason Farms Buttermilk Pancake Mix 
  • 3 teaspoons salt
  • 2 teaspoons garlic granules
  • 2 teaspoons black pepper
  • 3 teaspoons paprika
  • 2 1/2 to 3 pounds chicken, cut into 8 pieces
  • 2 to 3 tablespoons vegetable oil

Instructions:

Combine pancake mix, salt, garlic granules, pepper and paprika in a bowl. Rinse chicken pieces under cold water. Dredge each moistened chicken piece in dry mixture until well coated. Place in 9”x13” baking pan. Drizzle chicken with oil. Bake 375°F for 1 hour or until juices run clear. Makes 8 servings.
