- 1 teaspoon active dry yeast
- 1 1/4 cups warm water
- 3 cups
- Augason Farms Honey White Bread, Roll & Scone Mix
- 1/2 cup strawberry jam (see recipe)
Preheat oven to 375 °F. In large bowl, dissolve yeast in warm water. Add bread mix, knead until dough is smooth and elastic. If using electric mixer with dough hook, mix on 2nd speed for 10 to 20 minutes or to full development. Cover and let rest for 15 minutes. Divide dough into 8 equal pieces, roll into balls. Place onto a well greased 9"x13" baking pan. Press center of each roll to make a small indentation. Fill with 2 tablespoons of jam. Cover and let rise until dough is doubled in size. Bake 12 to 15 minutes. Makes 8 buns.
