In a large skillet, preheat oil to 325°F. Place pancake mix, black pepper, salt and garlic in a large sealable plastic bag. Shake to mix well. Place one steak in a bag at a time and shake well to coat.Repeat for remaining steaks. Fry steaks until evenly browned on both sides, about 3 to 5 minutes, per side. Serves 5.
