Augason Farms Bean & Beef Chili gives you a fast hot meal with real beef, tender beans, and bold seasoning. Each pouch has eight servings with seven grams of protein per serving. Add water and heat. No refrigeration needed. Use it for weeknight meals, camping, or emergency storage. Serve on its own or over nachos or potatoes. Shelf life is up to 25 years for dependable pantry backup.

Pinto Beans, Red Beans, Tomato Powder, Red and Green Bell Peppers, Dehydrated Onion, Beef Base (Salt, Hydrolyzed Soy Protein, Sugar, Torula Yeast, Corn Starch, Maltodextrin, Caramel Color, Onion Powder, Yeast Extract, Natural Flavor, Spices, Citric Acid, Less Than 2 Percent Silicon Dioxide To Prevent Caking), Cornstarch, Iodized Salt, Freeze Dried Cooked Ground Beef (Salt), Extra Virgin Olive Oil (Silica/Maltodextrin), Chili Powder (Chili Pepper, Cumin, Oregano, Garlic Powder), Jalapeno Pepper, Sugar, Spices.

  1. Remove oxygen absorber and discard.
  2. Whisk chili mix into 10 cups of boiling water. (For thicker Chili, add less water to reach desired consistency).
  3. Reduce heat to medium and continue cooking for 10–15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Remove from heat and let sit for 3–5 minutes before serving.

"Amazing value for taste and quantity"

I opened this up to test out the food before I purchased any more, and I have to say, so far I am impressed. I very much enjoyed what I have I tried so far. It seems to be pretty easy to find this for around $100 including shipping... so the price for this much food would be pretty hard to beat.

"The best buy for your money"

Don't be fooled by how many "servings" the manufacturer says it contains. A "serving" is not a MEAL. It is only a part of a meal.Most products price out at a cost per day of $5 or $6. This product prices out to cost only about $3.60 per day. Therefore, it is definitely the best buy for your money.

I wrote Augason Farms customer support and within 15 minutes they wrote back and were happy to fix a problem. I identified the bags that were breached and within a few hours - they sent proof that the bags are being shipped to my house. THAT'S customer service and I'm a loyal fan now. :-)
